Compassionate Trauma-Informed Therapy for Individuals and Couples in person, in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas, and online across Tennessee, Oregon, and Idaho.

Now accepting new therapy clients.

My Approach to Trauma-Informed Therapy

Healing begins with connection. Amanda JP Brown, LCSW, offers trauma-informed therapy in person for individuals and couples in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas, and online in Tennessee, Oregon, and Idaho. Her approach is grounded in compassion, deep listening, and nonjudgmental curiosity — helping you feel safe enough to explore the hard stuff and strong enough to grow from it. Through a person-centered, trauma-focused lens (with a touch of creativity and expressive arts), Amanda supports clients in rewriting painful narratives, cultivating self-acceptance, and reconnecting with the wisdom within.

Amanda JP Brown, LCSW, MACJ

For over 16 years, I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families through life’s most complex seasons — from birth to death, in homes, hospitals, and everywhere in between. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how early life experiences shape our beliefs, relationships, and decisions.

I know what it’s like to reach a point where you need real, lasting change. I offer trauma-informed therapy that meets you where you are — whether you're healing from the past, navigating relationship challenges, or seeking deeper self-awareness.

I'm currently accepting new clients for in-person therapy in Nashville, TN and Telehealth sessions in Tennessee, Oregon, and Idaho.
